Lee Ann Denham, TAG Owner and Coach

With over 30 years of experience, Lee Ann Denham brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to gymnastics coaching. Growing up in Farmington, Kentucky, she discovered gymnastics at 14 and never looked back. Today, she continues to inspire and guide young athletes at the Tennessee Academy of Gymnastics, emphasizing personal growth and perseverance.

Anne Malinowsky, Head Girl's Coach

Anne Malinowsky, Head Coach of TAG’s girls’ gymnastics team, brings enthusiasm and dedication to her role. Growing up in Rock Island, IL, she transitioned from ballet to gymnastics and quickly excelled, reaching Level 7 by 8th grade. Now in Chattanooga, she emphasizes grit and self-discipline, guiding young athletes with passion and care.

James Westbrook, Head Boy's Coach

James Westbrook, head coach of TAG's boys' team, has loved gymnastics for its social and physical aspects since childhood. Growing up in Alabama, he started gymnastics after a birthday party and quickly embraced its challenges and camaraderie. Now, he passionately coaches in Chattanooga, emphasizing personal responsibility, perseverance, and grit to his athletes.

Melaina Bramlett, Compulsory and Optional Girls

Melaina Bramlett, Compulsory and Optional Girls Coach at TAG, began gymnastics at age five and has been with TAG for over 20 years. Her coaches, Larry and Lee Ann Denham, deeply influenced her, instilling hard work and determination. She reached Level 10 and now loves coaching, fostering young athletes' growth, confidence, and love for gymnastics.

Kaylee Bautista, Gymnastics Instructor for GymEd

Kaylee Bautista, a dedicated gymnastics instructor at TAG, coaches beginner to advanced GymEd classes and assists with team compulsory workouts. Starting gymnastics at age five and joining TAG at 11, she was inspired by coaches Larry and Lee Ann Denham. Reaching Level 7 before retiring in 8th grade, Kaylee now loves teaching, fostering young athletes' growth and love for gymnastics.

Chuck Clark, ZOOlympics Coach

Chuck Clark (known by his students as Mr. Chuck) is a staple at TAG and coaches primarily ZOOLYmpics students ages five years and younger. Mr. Chuck grew up in Maryland outside of Washington, D.C., and during his first year at Tennessee Temple University, where he majored in art, he was introduced to a new love for gymnastics.

Growing up in East Brainerd, Chattanooga, TAG ZOOlympics Coach Chris Walker developed an
early and lasting love for gymnastics and cheerleading. From the age of six, she was
constantly surrounded by the energy and movement of the dance studio and gym, inspired
by their mother, a dance teacher and coach.

TAG is thrilled to welcome Erika D'Agostino as the newest coach on our competitive team. For Erika, joining TAG isn't just a new opportunity—it's a return home. Originally from Chickamauga, Georgia, Erika's gymnastics journey began after watching the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Inspired by the performances she saw, she began choreographing her floor routines in her living room, complete with back handsprings. Recognizing her natural passion and talent, her parents enrolled her in classes at TAG, setting her on an impressive gymnastics career..

At just 17 years old, Abbigale Salyers is already making a difference at Tennessee Academy of Gymnastics as a Level 3 coach. Balancing coaching duties while training to compete at Level 10, Abbigale brings the kind of drive, empathy, and energy that TAG is known for.

Patty Humphries, Office Manager

Patty has worked at TAG for 34 years. She was introduced to TAG initially as a parent through her daughter, who began attending classes in 1989. Soon after she became a TAG parent, Patty started working part-time and became full-time in 1994. Her daughter started at nine years old and graduated from TAG at Level 10. Now her granddaughter is on Team as well!
